The great Sioux tattoo hunt is coming to Lyon!

This year, we’re skipping (almost) the chocolate and embarking on an adventure with a fun and creative alternative: a temporary tattoo hunt. The concept? During a stroll around Île Barbe, participants must solve 8 riddles to find 8 hidden tattoos in the scenery.

Observation, logic, and curiosity will be your best allies! And the good news: the activity is 100% free and open to everyone, young and old alike.

Once you’ve found all 8 tattoos, all that’s left to do is: take a photo of them, send your discoveries by email, and voilà! You’ll receive 5 temporary tattoo sets of your choice from our collection—perfect to extend the experience and show off your style for several days!

An Experience at Your Own

No registration, no constraints—the hunt is completely self-guided, at your own pace. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a springtime walk, discover (or rediscover) Île Barbe, and share a fun moment with friends or family. All instructions are available online to guide you step by step.

The Riddles: It’s Your Turn

Riddle 1

“Late, late… I’m late!” whispers the White Rabbit. Everything starts in front of the annex of the 9th arrondissement town hall. But to find the first tattoo, no need to look at the sky… I am a hidden park at the foot of the town hall. Look where everything begins: under your feet. At the start of the park, near the small wooden stairs, a large tree spreads its roots… Your treasure is hidden at their base.

Riddle 2

The Mad Hatter is feeling peckish… and maybe has a letter to send. Look for a mailbox right in front of a house well-known to food lovers. Gourmet hint: a place famous for its brioche and pink praline tart.

Riddle 3

The Queen of Hearts is watching you… Cross the Île Barbe bridge. Stand exactly in the middle. Look up! A red heart-shaped padlock awaits you just above the railing…

Riddle 4

Now go down onto the island… Approach the water, where you can sit or lie on the rocks. A perfect spot to soak up the sun… Look carefully around the stones.

Riddle 5

Laughter rings out like a sweet melody… Children play and soar here. Look around you. Find the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the show.

Riddle 6

Time is strange in Wonderland… Head toward the Île Barbe inn. You’ll see 12 of them… Your tattoo is hidden on one of them.

Riddle 7

It’s time to reach new heights… Find the staircase leading to the opposite bank. Count each step. The tattoo is at the top of the 31st step.

Riddle 8

Last stage… Cross to the other bank. Look for the magical place that sparkles in the middle of the Saône. This is where it all ends…
