Sioou x Estelle Gautier: Discover our new collaboration of temporary tattoos!
You love floral tattoos and you’ve asked for more!
After the success of our Persephone adornment designed by the artist Eleonore M., we present to you the two new pieces, the Flora adornment and the Blooming Day adornment!
But who is hiding behind these?
We interviewed the artist Estelle Gautier with whom we collaborated for this project, we invite you to discover her below:
Hello Estelle, can you introduce yourself in a few words?
My name is Estelle, alias Gautier my artist name. I was born near Nantes and I have been drawing since I was very young. I have always felt that drawing would be my way of expressing myself, not being comfortable speaking. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in arts, I moved away from the artistic community to devote myself to my second passion, and also my second profession, sociocultural animation. I need to be on the move and feel useful, that’s why I have several strings to my bow. Even if art remains for me, a profession of passion in which I can place colors on my emotions and forms to express ailments. Art answers my questions, my hypersensitivity and my doubts. It is the balance between my two professions as a creator and an animator.
Can you tell us about your style?
The artistic approach is intended to be above all a hymn of love for nature, flowers, animals and women. I try to make my universe poetic and soft with a pinch of surrealism and colors that warm hearts. It’s my bluebpretty side.
Can you tell us about the realization of these two new boards?
The creation of the two adornments was done in my workshop, with an eye fixed on the window. I wanted the Blooming day set to be filled with patterns with fine lines for a floral and vegetal touch in all simplicity. Whereas, Flora is an adornment with more imposing patterns. I was looking above all for flowers with important meanings in my eyes, like the sunflower that always turns towards the sun, it’s an invitation to love and joy.
Do you have any other plans for the future?
Thanks to Sioou, I discovered another talented artist Silowane. And that’s how I proposed to him to collaborate on my cards to be planted with his illustrations. The planting cards are flagship products of my shop. They are made of recycled paper and flower seeds to avoid waste and be able to offer an original gift for various occasions. The big plus is that each illustration is made by incredible artists.
